Marblehead Food Pantry

The Marblehead Food Pantry, a non-profit organization, accepts donations of food and cash from local churches, synagogues, schools, clubs, organizations, businesses, and individuals. The Pantry provides food every week to any resident of Marblehead who needs its service.

How to use the Food Pantry

It is across the street from the Church and to the left of Seaside Park. From the parking lot in front of the Center, the Pantry is the door at the far left.

Hours:
Tuesdays from 9–11 AM   and
Thursdays from 5–7 PM

If you are a resident of Marblehead, you may use the Pantry once a week.
Please bring a bill or other document mailed to you within the last 3 months.

In addition to canned and packaged food, fresh produce from local gardens is generally available. On Tuesdays, milk and eggs and gourmet treats (day-old) from a local Marketplace are also available. These are all donated and quantities vary from week to week.

How to donate food and other products to the Food Pantry

Location:
Go to the Masonic Lodge at 62 Pleasant St. in Marblehead. [Google map]
Turn down into the driveway to the right of the building. Look for a sign near the entrance to the walkway into the building, where you will be greeted by a pantry volunteer.

Hours:  Every Tuesday from 9–11 AM
If this time is not convenient for you, please email info@marbleheadfoodpantry.org to make other arrangements. Or, order food from the Food Pantry’s wish list at Amazon and have it delivered directly to the Masonic Lodge (see more below).

We welcome donations of any non-perishable food items, paper goods, and toiletries.
Food items must not be expired, opened, or damaged in any way, per the Board of Health.
The Food Pantry prefers recently purchased food as opposed to closet clean-outs.

Suggestions include:

  • white rice
  • brown rice
  • grains (quinoa, farro, couscous, etc.)
  • dry black, red, and white beans
  • pasta sauce
  • unsweetened cold cereal
  • jellies and jams
  • canned tomatoes
  • canned tuna in water
  • canned sardines
  • canned chicken
  • ground coffee (12 oz. cans)
  • shelf-stable milk
  • cooking oil
  • flour and sugar (2 lb. packages)
  • Ensure or Boost (chocolate and vanilla)
  • toilet paper
  • toothpaste
  • bar soap
  • shampoo

Order food from Amazon and have it delivered to the Food Pantry

This convenient way to donate items will save you a trip to the grocery store and then another one to drop off the items at the Masonic Lodge when it is open.
